What an Online Store Really Costs in 2026 (Full Price Breakdown)
By Arash Latifi — Founder, The DevArt
Real 2026 pricing for an ecommerce site: 18M to 80M Toman depending on scope. What every line item means, where money gets wasted, and the five questions to ask before you sign.
TL;DR — A standard online store in 2026 costs 18–40 million Toman; above that you're in custom territory (inventory, accounting, ERP). Anyone quoting "5 million, delivered tomorrow" is selling you a nulled template that will drown in Google. Full price table and the hidden-cost list below.
Every week someone messages me: "I want a store, how much?" and I ask back: how many products, do you need online payments, what about inventory and accounting? Store pricing isn't like asking what a car costs — it's a function of equipment.
I'm writing this because when you search "website price," either nobody publishes numbers or they say "call us." So here are mine, in public. At the end there's also a free estimate form so you can get a number without a phone call.
Real 2026 price table
| Store type | Price range | Delivery | Best for | |---|---|---|---| | Starter store | 18–25M Toman | 3–4 weeks | Up to 100 products, online payment, no inventory | | Professional store | 25–40M Toman | 4–6 weeks | Up to 1,000 products, coupons, courier integration, SEO blog | | Enterprise store | 40–80M+ Toman | 6–10 weeks | Inventory, accounting, multi-store, ERP integration |
Why nothing below these numbers exists: even in the simplest case you need custom mobile-first design (not a slow nulled theme), a payment gateway with settlement, product pages with proper Product schema (that's what gets you into Google Shopping), cart and checkout flow, a Persian admin panel, and security. That's weeks of engineering. "5M a week" pricing means one of those gets cut — usually the schema and the speed, which is exactly what eats your clicks later (I covered the low-quality product image minimum before too; in ecommerce, technical details are money).
The hidden costs nobody mentions
- Domain and hosting: 2–6M Toman a year depending on traffic. A heavy store on cheap hosting will fall over.
- Payment gateway: the gateway itself is free, but settlement and onboarding take time; middlemen take a cut.
- Product photography: bad photos = burned clicks. Budget a photographer, or at minimum learn consistent sizing.
- Post-launch SEO: a store without content is a shop with no sign. Put a monthly content budget in from day one.
- Maintenance: security updates and backups, 500K–1.5M a month. "Build it and you're done" is the biggest lie in this market.
The 5 questions to ask before signing
- Custom build or template? (nulled template = slow and unrankable)
- Do you set up Product schema and Merchant Center? (if they don't know what that is, walk away)
- What's the speed target? Correct answer: "LCP under 2.5s on mobile"
- Is there a Persian admin panel? Every product change shouldn't need a support ticket.
- Is there 30 days of free support after handover?
