Technical SEO for Next.js
For Next.js and React sites that are well-built but invisible on Google
Most 'SEO experts' bring their WordPress checklist to a Next.js site: install plugin, write meta, done. But Next.js has its own world — cacheComponents and ISR, server metadata, hydration, dynamic routes, middleware. Misconfigured, Google can't render or understand your pages. I write Next.js code for a living; I fix SEO from inside the code, not from outside with plugins.
Next.js SEO is not WordPress SEO
In WordPress, SEO is installing Yoast. In Next.js, SEO lives in the code: generateMetadata called correctly, canonicals that survive ISR, pages accidentally returning 200 instead of 404, middleware caches that cache not-found pages and confuse Google. Plugins don't fix these — code does.
I know both sides: I architect Next.js projects and I plan search strategy. So when I say 'this should be a landing page and that one should be noindex,' I know exactly which file and which code makes it happen.
My deliverable is numbers, not claims: every month you get a Search Console export — clicks, impressions, CTR, position — showing exactly what grew. See the [Tamsule case study](/en/blog/tamsule-seo-case-study): from 150 monthly clicks to 11,000, proven in GSC.
Who is this for?
Not ideal if: Running WordPress instead? See the [SEO service](/en/services/seo-service) — different tools, different playbook.

FAQ
How do you work with my Next.js codebase? Do you need repo access?+
Yes, repo access is ideal — I either patch directly (with transparent commits) or open PRs your team can review, each explaining why the change improves SEO.
How long until I see results?+
Technical fixes (indexing, canonicals, speed) usually show in GSC within 2–4 weeks. Ranking growth for service keywords takes 1–3 months depending on competition — in my case study it was 2 months.
What exactly is the monthly report?+
Each month: a Search Console export + my analysis — which queries grew, what opportunity was missed, and next month's plan. The same reports that underpin my published case study.
Our site isn't Next — it's React/Remix/Gatsby?+
Yes — rendering, indexing and schema principles are the same; only the tooling differs. Start with an audit; if I find something outside my expertise, I'll tell you honestly.
Your site is Next.js. Your SEO should speak Next.js.
Get a technical audit and see where the bottlenecks are — no commitment. If I find nothing worth fixing, I'll say so for free.
