Saravan University — Academic Portal (Frontend)

Overview

Saravan University portal serves students, faculty and staff — handling announcements, academic departments, news, and organizational content. The site required a clean, accessible frontend with heavy Persian content and archive pages.

My role was frontend development only, under the supervision of Webine / Sepehr Gostar CMS — implementing the UI on the proprietary Sepehr Gostar (Laravel-based) CMS.

Client & Challenge

Academic portals mix many content types: landing pages, news categories, galleries, staff directories. The challenge was a pixel-accurate, fully responsive implementation that keeps RTL typography readable and navigation fast across dozens of sections.

Goals

• Pixel-accurate UI implementation
• Responsive layout for news grids, mega-menus and detail pages
• Persian RTL typography
• Fast, clean frontend on top of enterprise CMS

Solution

The backend runs on Sepehr Gostar CMS by Webine — Laravel-based, EFTA-compliant, 20+ modules, scalable for enterprise portals. I implemented the frontend with semantic HTML, modular CSS and vanilla JavaScript, focusing on grid systems, accessibility and image optimization.
